    When i go to edge settings, a advanced menu appears with APN, Usename,P/word…I dont understand. Im Optus Prepaid and want to use the net and add applications..HELP please

    If Optus, then just “Internet” at the Edge Settings. no need password or username

    hello again i hav just gotten an unlocked 1.1.3 iphone from victoria.. i was wondering if u could let me now how to get the internet to work on it, its just saying i am not subscrybed to edge.. and for wifi to work do i neew wirless internet?

    1.1.3 unlocked? cool. Me too.For internet? Do you want to use GPRS or WIFI?If GPRS, it depends on which network you are using. If Optus, then just “Internet” at the Edge Settings.If WIFI, then, you need a WIFI network in your area.

    yo all, I have just moved from prepaid Virgin to postpaid Virgin with 300MB data. It is flying fine… but bloody slow when using GPRS internet.

    Hey guys. Obviously you guys have the phone unlocked, but are you with telstra?? Is there any chance it would work with 3 phones??

    hiya. You meant 3 Australia? The network? Yes, it does, on the GSM network. The iPhone will work on any GSM network. Only Telstra has EDGE though. But, I don’t use it.

    ye 3 AUS. They use 3g network though so I guess JUST internet won’t work. I know u can use wifi. (correct me if I’m wrong)

    yeah, it is damn slow. on wifi right? well, also depends on your ADSL speed.
