Using a data connection you can listen to your favorite radio station if they have an online component.

Depending on how you install it, you can access the buttons from the top or set your unit to remain on when powered.

  4. Jesse Herr says:

how do you lock it and turn it on and stuff?

  5. SonicElectronixTV says:

Hard to say, Drew. Every vehicle is so different. But, for custom work, it could be upwards of $500, maybe even $1000 depending on the work required.

  6. SonicElectronixTV says:

Anything is possible seeing as it has to be a completely custom install.

have you guys done any tablet installs on 2010+ mustangs? do you have pictures or videos of it?

The tablet connects to the Audison Bit One which provides additional control options. The tablet will output a stereo signal.

I originally did this in my Tacoma but scrapped it due to some things I couldn’t integrate and autonomy issues, found that the Pioneer appradio2 with ARliberator is a great plug and play solution on a budget

  12. Frank Clement says:

does the tablet have 4 channel audio output? how do you manage to connect to the control the front and rear channel?

  13. Russell Robinson says:

tunein radio has internet radio streams of local stations plus international radio and the standard internet radio streams.

  14. SonicElectronixTV says:

There is always a way to integrate a tablet, especially the smaller Nexus 7. A good install shop should be able to do it np.
If you are in SoCal, bring it by our shop and we will do it. The price varies depending on the type of install and other components used.

  15. SonicElectronixTV says:

We do sell all the components to do an installation like this. While it might be an Audison bitOne, there are other sound processors that can do it. Give us a call and we can help you out.
… Or just swing by our installation bay if you are in the SoCal area.

Quick question: I have a 2012 Camaro. you think it would be possible to install a nexus 7 on its dashboard? If so, can any auto place do it, and how much would it cost?

  19. SonicElectronixTV says:

Since the Nexus 7 does not have an AM/FM tuner built in, you’ll need to use applications for internet radio on the tablet. So you may end up seeing some different stations depending on what you’re looking to listen to.
