Isn’t it illegal to tune in on someone’s phone conversation, without permission? You know what I mean, secretly listening in on their phone conversation? Is this not what is happening here?

  5. RuskiNath says:

Of course not! The government does it all the time, why would it be illegal?

Those who were thanking him either get the joke or have not tried the experiment. I just wasted 4 minutes of my time on this vid.

This is mechanically and electronically impossible.Connecting a wire to ‘all’ the open ends of a microphone renders it uselss, just for starters.Connecting batteries to a microphone sends electricity INTO the microphone, which would recieve electrical impulses, not send them.Frequency of a remote is different from that of a cell phone, regardless of a “channel button”remotes SEND signals, and don’t RECEIVE.The dish position would make a difference.I am sorry for your **epic fail***

Does he think we’re all Beavis & Butthead? Draining the batteries of an infra-red remote with a mic taped to it inside a wok will intercept encoded cellphone transmissions? Of course it will.
