I have the galaxy 10.1 note. I completed the odin stuff but when holding the down volume button and power it only gets me to a warning page where volume up: continue and volume down: cancel. Can you help me?

Get serious man, if you want to make a video , prepare very well, it sound as if your learning, which i’m sure you are not. Make sure you are familiar with the differences of both processes linux and windows and specify which audience you are referring to. These tabs cost money and for for something as serious as rooting i think your audience deserves better .

hey sorry to ask but i can’t go to the download/recovery part, i hold the two buttons, the samsung galaxy tab logo appears and then nothing, the battery logo comes back am i doing something wrong ?
i rooted my samsung galaxy mini with SuperOneClick.exe and its way easier than this. all what i needed to do wah downlooad program open it and plug in your device press root and restart device and its done

Ha!! Got it!! I’m not sure if it was the SU file in the zip or what. But they had the correct SuperUser file over at galaxytabhacks – (google ‘rooting Galaxy 10.1 with ICS 4.04′ – it’s the first result) Worked great.
Over at XDA I’ve noticed a few P7510 Wifi users who recently updated to ICS with the same issue. Again nice tutorial
just try it again, it should work, also I have ICS update method on my site.
Okay…recently upgraded to 4.0 ICS
Ran Odin3 v1.85.exe, chose PDA, flashed CWM, PASSED, rebooted into CWM, installed Zip, chose Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root.zip…did the exact steps with no errors or warnings. Still no Root.
Is this verified to work on ICS? Do I have to go the ADB way?
Was kinda hoping to try Ubuntu. I have the PT – 7510 model running ICS
