What file did you guys download that gave you the runme.bat?
im new to this, but what happens when there is a new version of android, does it effect the root, does it brick the phone, or can i get the new version of android and not have to re root

i rooted my phone and i have been using the wifi tether. yesterday i updated all my apps now my wifi tether is not working. im sure the settings arent correct. what should the device profile be set at? its 3 generics and one htc evo option. should i enable mss clamping,routing fix?

From what I have gathered, unless you cleared the Google Wallet settings and data before rooting, you probably bricked the secure element for it. I believe there is a fix for it though. According to a Phandroid article I read, if you backed up your phone (Nandroid backup I believe) BEFORE google wallet stopped working, then you can go and restore that back up, and from there reset Google wallet’s settings. I need some help. I rooted my phone using this method, but I didn’t do my research ahead of time and now I’m frustratingly blocked from using Google Wallet. I tried to unroot using SuperSU, and when I confirm that I do indeed want to unroot, it starts uninstalling and then nothing happens. The app never closes itself like it says it will, and the root stays, even after I factory reset my phone. Help?
can someone help me? I downloaded everything, but when I get to the point where it says press any key to continue, it says: Start Rooting… then it says failed on ‘/data/local/tmp’ – Permission denied. then it says link failed File exists. then it does the three reboots, but I’m not rooted. what’s wrong?
