   you guys what you want is the x86 version if you have 32 bit. 86=32

   @theboidc23 You have the newer hboot and will have to use the htc method, which I don’t recommend.

   @black4pearl1 While you’re correct, you won’t brick your phone using this method as it simply won’t work. That’s just how this method works.

   hey umm i tried to root my evo and when i got to a certain step where you go into recovery mode, it says main version is older update fail! press pwer to reboot. please help

   @donbeter One click roots come around occasionally, but they’re usually more hassle than is worth it (lots of possible problems).

    hey man, good video and all, but when i run the recovery it wont work it says it is not supported and i’ve done everything, i didn’t do the temp root, because i wanted the real deal up front……….but it says not supported because i have all the latest up to date firmware/software and all……..how can i root?

    @amooouur1997 just push Menu>Settings>(scroll to the bottom) About Phone>Phone Identity>and your email address will be where it says Current Username
