Hey qbking77, thanks for the rooting video, it was simple and easy but left me with a few problems. After rooting i was able to turn on my hotspot and according to my phone it was working fine. However my computer was not able to see it and there was an error message on the application saying “setup ad hok-failed”. I don’t know how to fix this. Also, whenever i would download an app, my phone would freeze about 10 seconds after then reboot on its own, every time! I have since unrooted my phone.

i cannot download any other mirror then 1 & 2. i not all the drivers download. i have windows vista if that matters.

Thanks for the correct root video. I’m following it, but I got to the Odin screen and did not get a yellow box. I switched cables and tried several different USB ports but still no luck. You said to re-down load drivers, but I’m not sure how or where to do this.

I’ve watched both rooting & tethering videos. Both are great, but my problem is that my build number does not match any you have indicated. my model is SPH-D710 and build date is IMM761.F127. Is this a later build # or will rooting & tethering not work…?
