Need to re-issue a video more organized, and the sound was so bad it was difficult to follow. Video images were also confusing.

Do you have the files still on your computer or another link to download the files from? The link that you gave is broken.

    Hi all,

Does anyone have a free ZIP or BIN files for upgrading a new Windows Mobile Phone 6.1 or the latest one for a Dell Axim X50V? Can send me via attachments.

    Thanks

I can confirm it works on the X50 416 MHz with no Wifi. Works, although the screen alinement screen is somewhat slow, but it seems to be fine other than that. Haven’t reset yet so I don’t know if that is just from the 1st run.

‘Veesta’ or considered as Windows Vista.

As of now, I know of no way to upgrade the x50v without the cradle, sorry. I will look into it.

  17. cul8errr says:

    Scuze me….what is VEESTA?

By the way do you have a better tutorial for the x50v – one that does not require the stupid, clunky cradle???

I do not have a Windows Mobile 6 tutorial. All I have is a 6.5 With that ROM, your Axim can be upgraded.

I’m having a few problems with the rendering of the video. Some video of the project was taken out and I have to do some re-recording of them. I should get it done somewhere in the day, and I will PM you when it is finished.

  24. MrSteelyRevolution4 says:

I am currently working on a video on an alternative on how to update. The update will run from the Axim and will not require a PC but only to place files on the SD Card. It is expected to be done today, somewhere around 8:00PM EST.
