QUESTION: How do I change the Time Signatures in in the Drum Machine?? For example: When I engage the “Note Repeat” function, How Can I change the time signature from 1/4 to 1/8 to 1/16 just like I can do in the Imaschine app?

Very good review man! I really like the sample you used in the video and am gonna use it as well in a hip hop beat I’m going to make. So thanks on that and thanks on the 40s music recommendation as well. Lol and it was hilarious the way you sneaked in the picture of the animals balls that said smooth in the caption. Very Funny!

Thanks! I use Display Recorder (a jailbreak app available on Cydia) for all of my videos.

Great video! I’m thinking about buying the app and playing around with it! What app did you use to record the iPad screen for this video?

As of 2.2 there is MIDI out/thru and MIDI-over-WIFI, so it should be able to connect to just about anything you’re trying to control. I haven’t personally tested this though.

  14. aikighost says:

Can I sequence external hardware via midi with this app?

Thank you so much for getting back to me. Everything work on beat maker 2 just fine but for some reason it doesn’t show up in the list of apps to share info in iTunes. What am I doing wrong?

  20. Discchord says:

Beat Maker 2 makes this pretty easy. From the main view at the bottom hitting Export gives a lot of options. Hitting “To Audio” from there gives even more, including exporting the individual tracks with the “Seperate Tracks” option. This will be the cleanest way to import them into a computer DAW. You will find them when you connect your iPad/iPhone and use iTunes. In iTunes, select your device Click on the Apps tab, scroll down to File Sharing. Pick Beat Maker 2 to see the files.

  21. David Ussery says:

Nice work. Can you help me with exporting beatmaker 2 songs into logic pro 9?

  22. Tor Charlesworth says:

Yeah. I can see the song, mp3 & wav version in the iPod music share. Click to import then it just says empty folder. I see when you push the one song on the iPod, a million other files appear?

  23. Discchord says:

MP3s and AAC have both worked for me. Are you importing it from the iTunes music share? That is the easiest way to get it in.

  24. Tor Charlesworth says:

Trying to import songs to chop up. Do they have to be a certain format? I am getting ‘Empty Folder’ when i try to select an mp3.

Got something to say? Go for it!
