    I have the same issue as pratz11 I recently found an iphone and it’s locked with a passcode, i don’t want to delete anything on it though, so restore is a no no. Any ideas on how to get in ?

    I found an Iphone recently and its locked with a passcode. I don’t believe its jailbroken, is there still a way to remove it/bypass it?

    Copying across from the desktop to the etc folder doesnt work either, i am using windows 7, but i dont think this is effecting it.

    I believe its windows 7 causing this problem, an incompatibility issue. Maybe iPhone Explorer v0.98 needs to be updated.Anyway, in your case you may want to use another program similar to iPhone Explorer. It’s called iPhone Browser. Downoad the latest beta version which is windows 7 compatible, earlier version will not work properly. After installation, just copy the master.passwd from the video description to your etc folder. Keep me updated.
