There is no such thing as Mac Pro Late 2012. The most recent one is Mac Pro Late 2010.

  2. nickbouwhuis says:

Yeah. It is pretty important to leave it on what it says. If it says something else, you will probably get a kernel panic

  5. JST1324 says:

thanks for this video series. I’m actually doing this exact build once I get off work! Your tips will really help on the process.

Put thunderbolt in some how. How much did this cost you to make?

  10. TuneInTech says:

if you look up cpukids videos, there are ways to get USB 3.0 working. from what i remember.

  11. dragngt says:

Did you not look at or choose to use the EFIX usb mobo usb card? It’s the only thing that would make me want to build a hackintosh since it allows the computer to work and upgrade like a retail mac. I can’t spend hours getting a new upgrade to work with each OSX update.

  12. TheMoose2010 says:

i think it might have to do with the last mac pro being released in 2008.

The GTX 580/570 works great under OSX with QE/CI/CUDA working. I’ve heard that the GTX 680′s should work in the near future. (Possibly when the new Mac Pro is released)

Also, to solve your Bluetooth problem, the Belkin F8T016 Bluetooth adapter is Plug n’ Play as far as OSX is concerned. With my Hackintosh it works flawlessly with Apple’s Magic Trackpad.

Just letting you know that the DIR-615 is a D-Link Wireless N 300 Router.

  17. 7ox13S7ud10s says:

If you knew anything about a hackintosh you would know the Intel icore chipsets are the same chipsets used in a hack. But you would not know that since I have a hack running stable for five months. You meant to say AMD hacks but you are clueless since those are the ones buggy. Stop acting like you know something when you don’t. :) In addition, hacks score higher then any mac laptop/desktop in GeekBench, Cinebench and others but you would not know that since you know nothing about computers. LOL!

  18. isstyles says:

what boot loader did you use??

  19. frededison says:

You must be 13. You don’t own the software you LICENSE it. If you actually owned the software like you think you wouldn’t need the EULA. That means you can’t legally modify and reverse engineer the code, too, but why would legality stop someone who’s too cheap to buy a real Mac and be a part of the real Mac experience. Keep striving for the unreachable dream with your buggy Frankentosh. :)
