Steps For jailbreaking (iPhone 3g and iPod Touch 2 gen NON MC ONLY): 1. Download Files from bellow 2. Open redsn0w and point it at the 4.0 GM Firmware that you downloaded! 5. Set custom boot and recovery if you want and enable verbose boot (if desired)! Also uncheck enable multitasking, battery percentage custom backgrounds IF YOU WANT TO! 6. Continue ONLY when device is powered off and plugged it! 7. When it prompts you: hold down home button for 5 seconds then hold down power and home for 10 and then let go of power and continue holding home until it goes to the next screen! 8. Wait for it to finish then REBOOT! 9. Go to cydia (will have white icon at first) and refresh data and all sources will be there and it will fix the whit icon!
